I Just Became a Mason

by Clint Barlow
(Bay Minette, Al, Baldwin Lodge # 498, F&AM )

The overwhelming feeling I get the more I study and perfect my lesson can not be described with words.

I have made so many friendships with good people.

I understand. There are so many facets to Freemasonry that it truly IS difficult to describe.

There is its long history, its Old Charges, its famous and non-famous members, its Masonic symbols, Masonic regalia, rituals, archaic words, Biblical verses, etc., but, underscoring all of that, I believe, is the feeling of connectedness to others and to your local community to make the world a better place.

Thanks for contributing, Clint.
